Is the Evo 2 v2 640 controller the same as a non-thermal Evo2 v2 controller?

For some reason the Tripltek 9 will work with a Evo2 v1, and with Autel sky app. But, want connect to a Evo2 v2 640t controller. Tripltex customer service has been outstanding. Called me from Korea. Just trying to figure out if the thermal controller is different that a non thermal drone controller.
