iPad Pro with no cellular

I have a great IPad Pro 12 inch that works great except for no internet. Only WiFi when it’s around. Is there anything I can do as far as mapping and being able to use the location map to see where I’m at without it? I heard I can download maps ahead of time, etc. Anyone have any ideas for me? Any help would be greatly appreciated

The only thing I know for that is map cache. Autel has a tutorial out for the X-Star and I don't think it would be any different for the EVO.

Caching works great for me.
You just have to start up the Explorer app, tap in the map area to get a larger view, and then scroll the map to the location you are interested in. Make sure to scroll the map around to completely cover the desired area (you are adding the info to the cache when you are doing this). Once you are satisfied that you have covered the area of interest, shut everything down.
When you are at your flying location, you will see that the map is correctly displayed.
