How does this affect the balance of flight?

I haven't weighed it but it is light. My tracker weighed more and you would never know it was there.

Correct me if Im wrong, but I thought I read somewere in the manual that flying too close to water can cause a compass malfunction because of the water's shiney reflection.

The reflection can affect the Starlink Positioning System. Those 2 tiny cameras and the ultra sonic sensors. The reflection causes false readings. this is true on all the current drones. The front facing OA sensors on the DJI's have issues with sunlight on occasion.
