I made trial amplifiers for my evo 2 pro. Another improved version is coming now. The first photo is my first version.

The size is large. But the new ones will be much more compact.

This is a miniature 2.4GHz amplifier board (33 mm by 22.5mm). I made it to amplify the signal on my drone.
The amplifier amplifies in both directions. The output gain is about 13 dB, the input gain is about 14 dB.
When applied to the input 15.7dbi, the output will be 28.7dbi., with an input power of 17 dbm, the output will be approximately 30 dB (1 W).
The board definitely needs cooling. P1 is the input and P2 is the output to the antenna.
The board must be powered by a 5 volt source.
The current draw can reach more than one ampere at maximum power.
I used the SKY65900-11 chip.

My drone is broken, so I placed the amplifiers instead of the lower light.

I have alientech booster installed on my remote.
There are definitely improvements in reception stability

The development of the amplifier continues.

If you want to support or make yourself the same, then I made an available project on pcbway: PCBWAY shared project

This is great. With the unfortunate announcement of end of support for V1 it'd be interesting to see what kind of community hacking and upgrades can get off the ground.
