I started out by getting a Hubsan Zino Pro. It was a good one to learn on although I couldn't quit spending $ on it. Better batteries, better charger, then video quit. I don't hand catch so getting the Zino on the ground was an adventure. Liked to flip on it's head.
Then I saw an Evo 1 for sale locally. It was in great shape and the guy seemed OK so I went $800. Got screwed. The remote display was bad. So $200 more for Autel to fix it but I totally love this drone. Great picture super stable flying, and lands where it's supposed to and shuts down.
Not happy about the loss of support but will fly it till it croaks.
