Heck of a deal

Ok guys, just purchased a orange beast of Craigslist (YAAA). The machine is still bound to the previous owner. How do I get his name off it and bind it to my email. Just want to get it completely in my name including registering it.

From what i have heard you have to talk to customer service and it might be a real pain in the *** to get it switched over. Not sure why but just going by other people's experiences

That's the only problem I had with buying a refurbished XSP. It had already been bound to the previous owner's account & I couldn’t open the logbook, etc.

When I tried to register it using the aircraft serial number found on the side of the X-Star (beginning with X) I learned "The product does not exist. Please check the information you entered.”

It was a tangle of dead ends until I found help from Rich Spiess, the Sr. Technical Support Lead at Autel.

My advice: email Autel’s Customer Service.

Called customer service, they wanted the previous owner to call and confirm that I didn’t hit him over the head with a club and take the drone. Contacted him and he seems willing to do so...we shall see how this plays out.

For crying out loud, they should call the previous owner. They have all his info, your just registering.
