HDR - I don't understand or it doesn't work?

Settings - Recording mode. Unless I manually change the exposure setting, it is in AUTO mode. But why can't I set HDR and it says: can't be set in PRO mode??? The HDR selection is not saved and applied, it remains Off. If I go into Pro mode the option is grayed out, that's OK. Your experience / solution ???

I like HDR more than standard, but the green one... is disgusting.

I've been struggling to find this for days. Thinking I'd had some setting wrong. The app needs to be updated to tell the operator that it has to be flying to activate, just like all the other quick shot and tracking features.
