It looks like it’s tracking north, but geeeez it’s big. The Big Island is 4000 sq.mi. big, so the photo is humbling. The Big Island’s two 14k’ volcanoes tend to repel hurricanes a bit, but the other islands, especially Oahu & Kauai seem to get the worst of it. I just got a flash flood warning for my house for sale in Hilo which is scheduled to close escrow in two weeks! I hope it can float for a couple more weeks !

Reminds me when Hurricane Maria engulfed Puerto Rico back in 2017. I lost my home and job in the same day. Had to re-invent myself and start from new. It was tough, but I am glad it did. I wasn't happy at my old job.
