I recently bought a used but like-new Autel Evo Nano+. This is my first drone, and I have no prior experience with drones. I bought it for simple photography during vacations at quiet beaches and for capturing nature scenes.
Now I have two problems/questions and hope for your support:
1. Connection Issues:
Since the first flight, I have had constant connection losses between the controller and the drone. This happens in completely open fields without any obstacles, even after just a few meters of distance. First, the controller shows a full connection to the drone, but suddenly the connection drops, and the drone starts RTH (Return to Home). After a short moment, the connection is restored with full strength, and I can cancel the RTH and continue flying. This happens every 20-30 seconds.
After checking different settings, I discovered that switching my iPhone 15 Pro (which I use as the display) to flight mode makes the connection stable. However, I feel like the RTH accuracy has suffered since then, and I would also like to stay reachable when flying the drone.
Do you have any explanations or workarounds for me?
2. Quick-Shot and Tracking Features:
I would like to use the Quick-Shot and Track features, but I am having trouble activating the “Plus” symbol on the display. So far, I haven’t found a tutorial explaining how this works exactly. The “Plus” symbol only appears briefly or is very difficult to click. Is there a trick to make it easier to activate?
