Does the drone, the iPad and the remote all need to be on in order for changes to be made ?

Sorry for the late reply but yes I do believe for it to stay as default the controller needs to be connected to the X-Star

mpg? LOL, I'm pretty sure the 2 choices are .MOV and .MP4. Use .MOV for iOS and MP4 for Android.
