Smart Controller SE Programmable button

My EVO 1st version had the photo button to take still pics WHILE filming in video mode. As a home inspector this was very convenient for report pics as I take about 30+ pics on every roof. I've got the EVO 2 V3 Pro and the Smart Controller SE and now they require us to manually press the photo button on the screen... right next to the record button!!! It would be much better to have the corner button take the pics like the EVO 1 remote or allow the programmable button to be set to take still pics regardless of filming mode.

Not a rant... just hoping to get the conversation started so Autel could see the interest.

I’m pretty sure that Autel does not monitor these forums, in fact I’m pretty sure Autel doesn’t monitor anything. Various software companies have been waiting now for like 5 months for Autel to provide updated SDKs so that the MAX will work with their software again after the latest update, but Autel doesn’t care. Many of these softwares affect public safety agencies, still there seems to be no rush on their end.
