FAA will require drones to display registration numbers externally

Like that pilot that saw the drone 1\2 mile off his portside at about 3000 feet. If it had numbers on it....

I registered mine in 2016 and expired in 2020... Exactly 4 years and some months.

That might not be too bad then. I can see it getting worse in the near future.

Specially now that the market is getting bigger. The government will probably see it as another bank account. They may increase the price or short the registration to renew every year.
