Evo Nano+ camera better than Evo Lite?

Strange thing...
The camera from Nano+ have bigger pixels than camera from Lite.
As the pixels from Nano+ is almost x2 size, seems that will have more than 1.5 stops better light that Evo Lite.
Wondering how this was thinked...
On light, Evo Lite will be great on photos as the pixel size is very small as 1.22um, but on night Nano+ will rule with the 2.44um Bin2 pixel size.
So.. Be careful what you buy, as in this case bigger drone does not mean better camera for night, but only for daytime.

There is some mixed information listed online as I think both the Lite and Nano+ are using the same sensor. The Lite is listing the actual size of the pixel 1.22um and the Nano+ is listing the size of 2 pixels binned. The ability to collect light should be the same.

If you look at all the other specs concerning the cameras on the Lite and Nano+ they appear to be the same 50mp with 12.5mp binned output, 23mm equivalent, f/1.9 aperture, ISO6400, 1/8000 shutter etc.

Well, specs are from Autel official site...also both cameras have different max FPS...this also can be from max bitrate, one is 100, other 120...but this means different encoding chips...

The frame rate is delivered from the drone's internals, not from the camera sensor so that can be easily explained. The pixel size couldn't be double because they are both listed as a 50mp camera using the same size 1/1.28 sensor even if they were different which I doubt. The sensor size would have to double to accommodate the larger pixels.

Interestingly.... the Lite is listing a night mode where the Nano+ is not.

The bitrate and framerate is to differentiate between models, Nano is 30FPS device and lite is 60fps.
Otherwise Nano+ has the same sensor and Lite
Lite+ has an intresting sensor, cant wait to see how it performs.

Does anyone know what sensor/manufacturer for the Nano+ and Lite? It seems the Lite+ is the same Sony sensor as in the EVO II Pro.

The 1/1.28 sensor in The Nano+ / Lite has the same specs as the Huawei P40 phone camera.... Huawei manufactures many of their own cameras and are leaders in RYYB sensor tech. They would be an odd choice for Autel though because Huawei is on the restricted foreign entity list for the US and Autel has been trying to stay clear of anything that will keep them from a government contract.

As I was looking into it it seems that Samsung also has a sensor for phones that resembles the one in the Nano+. Perhaps it could be Samsung?

I thought so myself but the Samsung isn't RYYB which rules it out.

Speaking of restricted government contracts, I read that DJI has been sanctioned by U.S. Mostyl pertaining to investing and selling of their stock holdings.
