I'm curious on the fit and the comment about not having these on during gimbal calibration. I assume you can have them on while powering up to take off but not when you are manually initiating the gimbal calibration?

I have them, they are a simple compression fit. They do not interfere with the start up operation and give you plenty of ground clearance

The gimbal calibrates and self balances itself. It has nothing to do with the drone stance. That is how the gimbal can straigten itself even when flying in high winds.
