EVO 2 Smart Controller V1 replace internal battery?

Unfortunately, that is not the Smart Controller I'm talking about. It is for the Large Screen Smart Controller and I have spoken to Autel and there is NO Repair available for the LARGE V1, V2 or V3. It is a situation where once the battery is Dead or No longer charges, it becomes useless!

So, unless someone knows how to open the Case, my V1 is done! A total waste of $1200!

I opened mine to unplug and plug in the existing battery. Just pull the screws in the back and gently pry it open. Mine still won't turn on despite having a good battery.

Autel suggested that I wait until the battery dies to see if it resets. It has yet to die after a year. I moved on to a Lifthor tablet and mount for the original controller. Getting a straight answer on which software is best for Android from Auto tech support is frustrating.
