Recently purchased used EVO II v1 not recognized by my controller

Wondering if I have to program my Xbox sized remote controller for use with a 2nd EVO II v1 , which isn't recognized by the controller. Controller works just fine with my other EVO II v1. Just won't connect. Maybe it's something simple.

You will need to pair it with the new drone. Whenever you switch between them, you will have to pair with the aircraft you want to use.

With the Evo on, press the pair button. It's under one of the plastic flaps that is on the side of the drone. Then power on the remote while holding the power button and the return to home button at the same time. You should hear a beep once it's paired if I remember right. I'm sure there's better instructions online somewhere for pairing a remote to the drone.

WOW! I never would have imagined that solution. Unfortunately, I returned the unit before I could test this approach. I was unable to find any info online with this solution. I was startled to find the tiny button you referenced beneath the flap on the left side of my original EVO II v1. I never noticed that button before. I just assumed the remote would automatically pair with the drone when both were turned on. This is great information and thank you so much for sharing.
