Evo 2 Pro 10 bit

Hi,

Is anybody can share 10 bit footage out of Evo's II Pro ? From what I read, they added 10 bit in 2.3.0 firmware
6k30p 10 bit & 4k60p 10 bit samples

Is there a matrix somewhere of the various formats and encoding specs for the Evo II Pro shooting modes? I can try to post a test video later from mine.

10-bit videos at 4K resolution or lower as long as you are shooting with the LOG color profile.

Each 123 video with next parametres: A) style none B) style LOG C) style HLG
Each ABC with 0/0/0 color, -1/-1/-1, -2/-2/-2

Hello. I experimented with the three settings: H.264, H.265, and H.265 LOG color. Resolve shows these three files have 8-bit, 8-bit, and then 10-bit resolution. So at least the Davinci Resolve recognizes the 10-bit format. All three were shot in 1K, 24 fps.

Here is the video comparison, via Youtube so it has been re-formated by them.

Slight confusion: The H.265 is 8-bit (the video lists 10-bit). Only the H.265 LOG is 10-bit according to Resolve.

In order to have 10bit color profile you need to enable HDR or LOG. (HDR can be enabled in resolutions of 4K or less, with AUTO at SS).
H265 is a compression standard able to sustain 10bit, but the 10 bit color is in this 2 formats: HDR or LOG. In Normal profile, everything is 8 bit, as usual.
