Not true if you're flying legally. There is not a country in the world that I know of that does not require a visual line of sight!Maybe, but does it matter? It's flown through the camera, not by visual sight
That is correct! If you are unable to physically see your drone you are flying illegally. 14 CFR § 107.31 - Visual line of sight aircraft operation. It doesn't matter if you are flying recreationally or Part 107So are you saying if I can't physically see my drone, then it's not being flown legally? I normally can't see my drone once it's 50 ft away. If it's for other people, it has a metallic silver bottom and trim.
That applies to flying your drone period! That applies to controlled airspace, not everywhere
Your guess would be incorrect. I suppose you would guess that everyone speeds on the interstate as well.i would have to guess most people fly their drones illegally
I use qualified visual observers and move around to keep VLOShow would you survey an acre or more of land if you have to always have a line of sight to the drone?
