Has anyone found away to confirm that a video you think you recorded in HDR is actually HDR?

Mediainfo lists both HDR and non-HDR with the exact same Color information from what I see.

10 bit HDR on the Evo2 Pro when edited on a rec2020 timeline becomes “true hdr”

I edited footage from my E2P and edited on rec2020 TL and posted it to YouTube. You’ll know it’s true HDR because the small HDR logo pops up on the right top side of the video.

Only issue is the need for a wide gamut monitor that can take FULL advantage of the lumins when editing true HDR Footage.

How can you tell true HDR

This is Evo 2 Pro test footage

This is HLD (HDR)video from my M2Pro

Hmm... So, I checked some of my 4K + 10-bit + HDR recordings with MediaInfo.net and see that they are all BT.709, not BT.2020. I'd better run this one by Autel to see what's going on.
BTW Bigdz, both of these videos show BT.709 (not BT.2020) in Stats for nerds. Is that something that YT does? They look beautiful anyway!

[/QUOTE]thanks! Really...I just checked my 55’ 4k TV and its listed as HDR; top right of the screen will show before vid starts. And stats for nerds is showing both BT2020(rec2020).

Yes same results for me; it is curious that the info available doesn't confirm HDR. I would like to take Autel at face value on this but they lied about having Log early on when it clearly did not.

I have done some minor testing and think I can see some help in highlights, but yet to find much benefit in lifting shadows running the same short identical lines. Still a lot to figure out about this bird.

The plot thickens. Does that mean that YT "Stats for nerds" reports the color space of the video as played in receiving monitor rather than the color space of the video itself? My monitor is not HDR.
