Can't get started . . .

Doesn't matter if anything else is on the sd card as long as the file is in the root directory. He tried manually to update it and also automatically and it didn't work. It's a bust.. He needs to return or exchange the drone it looks like.

I think if you read my previous responses I did not suggest him to return it. Rather, I had tried to find a solution without returning it until someone else noted otherwise. Did you read post #5 and #7?
Also when he would have contacted Autel to send it back they would have caught it before he sent it because of the normal troubleshooting before it is sent back (which they did!).
Sorry for trying to help and thank you for your input.

Reminds me on how my Evo took 6 months to start including elevation within the exif data of the photos taken. I wonder how long until his Evo shows their individual parts firmware.
