I'm in the process of buying dual MAPIR multispectral cameras to mount on an Autel Evo Pro V2 or V3. This is for multispectral photogrammetry. The cameras stick out to the sides and a GPS and light sensor sits on top (see images below).
MAPIR has successfully used this setup with the V2 but has had a client report that the V3 had gps reception issues in this configuration and that the MAPIR light sensor (mounted on top of the drone) may impede GPS reception for the V3. I was wondering if anyone here knows whether the GPS location changed between the V2 and V3?
Any other factors I should consider when choosing between V2 and V3?
Alternatively I'm also considering a Mavic 3 classic, but the mission planning seems a bit of an annoying work around compared to built in functionality with the Autel (and I do change plans in the field). This is all for semi-hobby purposes so that's the price cap
