No, the controller handles will not secure a cell phone,
It is a bit expensive but the LifThor EVO is an excellent tablet holder designed specifically for the EVO.

Many thanks for the tip, Leon. My only concern is the thickness of the Crystal Sky. I've sent an email to the LifThor folks to get their input. BTW, the $85 is fine. The DJI mount was $89. Thanks, again!!

The LifThor EVO is designed specifically for the CrystalSky on the EVO controller. The battery on the CrystalSky can be changed (it comes with two batteries) without dismounting the CrystalSky

Leon, thanks again!! I heard back promptly from Tore at LifThor showing me the two parts that are used with the Evo controller. Now, I just have to decide if I want to buy the Evo 2.
