Antenna Position

I recently received the Premium as a gift and took it out for a few test flights. Was using beginner mode, and video signal was sporadic with the drone less than 100' in altitude and about 300' in distance. i was in an open field with no power lines. i haven't been able to find any definitive instructions on the positioning of the antennas. Any suggestions from experienced pilots would be appreciated!

I was in the same boat with mine, contacted support and was told about this video giving guidance on antenna positioning. After watching it I realized I was doing it wrong. Range is much better now.

Confirmed that my orientation is correct... now i'm concerned about not transmitting and receiving a good signal. Need to perform more flights to isolate the issue.
