Hi everyone. I have an Evo 2 8K and want to share a quick mod I did to help make my take off procedure easier.
A couple times I forgot to take the gimble cover off before I tried to start up the drone. I had the idea to add a "Remove Before Flight" tag to it to help remind me to take it off when I am getting set up.
It was easy to do. I drilled one small hole and used a zip tie to attach the lanyard ring. I sized the drill bit to the zip tie I had available. It looked like there was more than one spot that the hole could be drilled to add the tag, but the one I selected works well.
It fits inside the case that came with the rugged bundle as well. There were no problems with fitment once it was installed, there is plenty of clearance in that area.
