Little fuzzy on the text, looked like it said to glue what he is calling the UFL connector? This is the same one in the Itelite video that was glued.

Yup same connector gets glued back on just in case.

A lot cleaner install by using the two existing holes. Looks a lot better that way.

Couldn't see the "." in there...we didn't have those back in the 80's and 90's LOL, going to need my 4x readers.

I tell you working with those ribbon cables be extra careful. Do not force the hold down clip as they break and those ribbon cable don't crease them. I have changed a few lenses in sport cameras and those small ribbon cables can be a pain in the BUTT.

I wonder if we could put that hole on the side or back somewhere, instead of right on the front?

If I had a 3D printer I would make a T-bracket so I could run two of the three wires through one hole and mount the cable ends onto the T-bracket. That way if i needed to put it all back to stock there would be no hole at all.
