I use a key ring. Big key ring from Lowes, it was I think .49$. It goes around the phone holder arm, then lanyard

I respectively disagree. I dislike trolls, and SURE do not have to "respect" them, but I do (usually) keep my thoughts to myself and ignore 'em. Just sayin' .....
