    Camera queries?

That is a smart play right there...

    Low noise props?

This is my 5th drone, but first Autel. That would be just my luck. It is definitely the angry swarm of bees noise I am hearing. This sound was there on the Mavic too, however anything above 80m would be quiet enough that you wouldn't notice it unless you knew what you were listening out for. Not...

    Camera queries?

Had crossed my mind, really not something I intend to find out this way though :D

    Low noise props?

Shame. Went for a fly early this morning and I could clearly hear my Evo when it was hovering above 100M. This wasn't the case with the Mavic and low noise props. Hopefully someone jumps on this opportunity.

    Low noise props?

    It's no Mavic Air, but to my ears there is a difference. Tom's Tech Time review show there was about a 5dB difference in favor of the low noise props on the Mavic;

    Camera queries?

Yeah, this is pretty much how I feel as the 10-bit claim was the push I needed to commit to buying the Evo. As you say, if DJI had made this sort of baseless claim the user base would have been out for blood. Interestingly the Ambarella H2 is also capable of 4K@120fps H.264, maybe Autel can...

    Low noise props?

Hi All, Does anyone know if there are any 3rd parties making low noise props for the Evo? Compared to my old Mavic Pro with the low noise props, the Evo seems quite noticeably louder once I'm out to the 30~40M mark.

DJI vs Autel || Only the Evo vs the Mavic Pro - interesting results

Good vid, though perhaps work on the audio levels a bit. Perhaps even a lav mic rather than depending on the camera mic as I could bately hear you speak. I had the original Mavic Pro until recently and while it truly set the bar for compact drones when it came out, so far I think the Evo pretty...

    Camera queries?

I queried (spammed?) the Autel YT channel over a couple of videos asking for follow up on the 10-bit claim and actually got a reply. I think this will be about as close to an admission that the 10-bit claim is not based on anything from the Autel engineering team as I'm likely to get. Basically...

    Bridges with the Autel Evo

Glad you liked the edit and the music, though I can't lay any sort of claim to the latter. Yeah, the colour grade won't be for everyone as my main aim was really to see how far I could manipulate the LOG footage. I was particularly focusing on detail recovery in the sky as well as shadow...

    Bridges with the Autel Evo

So, bit of a bitter sweet for me. After seeing Autel's claim of 10-bit video I decided to sell my DJI Mavic Pro and upgrade to the Evo. Was not so impressed to find this capability absent (even with latest firmware), however 100mbps 4K60P H.265 is still a decent step up from what I had. Took my...

    Camera queries?

Well, being located in Australia certainly doesn't help. I ended up purchasing my Evo a few hours ago of eBay though with a 10% off coupon. Nothing like the free "on the go" upgrade that was just on in the US, but discount essentially paid for the extra battery and carry bag upgrade.

Does the Evo really have a 10-bit camera?

Sorry for chiming in on an older thread. I've just ordered my Evo, so all of the following is based on never having laid my hands on one yet. Going on those screen shots it looks as if the Evo is still recording in BT.709, which if it actually is 10-bit would suggest this is not a HDR format...

    Camera queries?

Thanks for this. 11.5 stops of dynamic range is pretty impressive. Also found some raw footage from the Mavic and Autel Evo on fpvguys website. To my eye the Autel had better fine detail in the foliage and softer highlight roll off. Going to hang out for the next sales promotion and then...

    Camera queries?

Thanks for all the replies. Pretty disappointing that Autel don't make these details available. I had wondered if the Evo used the Sony Exmor RS IMX378 (same as in the Google Pixel) which from what I can tell is capable of 4K60P @ 10bit. Find it pretty unprofessional that they drop a claim like...
