It is the second time i went to look for the lost drone. As my wife and I covered the 5 mile distance in our little motor boat we found a little island like half a mile away from the search area.
As we approached it we saw a pelican in there laying down. I try not to bother it and go to the other side of this small island.
Something didnt seem right about this bird. As i approached it i saw quite a bit of fishing line around its wings and a hook in its mouth.
I held it down with a towel while my wife was removing the line.
It took quite a bit of time .
When we were done i rode the boat to some fishing vessel and asked them for shrimp.
I put a few down its throat but it regergitated them. An hour later we left the pelican behind heading towards main land.Too tired for drone rescue I hope this bird will be ok
