A few months ago I bought a new Macbook Pro with the M1 chip. The upside is that it is blazing fast. The downside is that some specialty software still doesn't play nicely with the chip architecture even with Apple's emulator which works for a lot of other packages. Anyway, WebODM (photogrammetry) seems to be one of these. In case anyone is interested in this open source, affordable photogrammetry option, and you have an M1 machine, the developer is running a type of kickstarter campaign to fund development for the M1.
