Has anyone yet attached this to an Evo? I don't expect to be able to make it talk the the flight control unit, or even the ground controller, but maybe set up for ATC awareness...? Would only need power and a mount point for that, and the power drain shouldn't have a huge affect on the flight time (500mW usage). Would certainly satisfy the RemoteID stuff that's being talked about, too.

I have a SkyHunter 1800 with some serious long-range capability that I intend to obtain the ADSB unit for anyway. Would be nice to be able to use it on other birds, too (like the Evo, Mavic Platinum or Typhoon H480).

Thoughts?

The Remote ID proposed won't be via ADS-B. What you are asking is an ADS-B device that costs 3 times the Evo.

I know that. I also know I intend to get it for eventual long-range use of the SkyHunter, anyway. If it can be used on more than that...

According to uavonix it should work on your Evo.
