Am I correct that with the Anafi Geofencing can be turned off?

Yes

The only thing you cannot turn off is the 400 foot limit. It will not allow you to go above that.

It would be more accurate that you have to turn it on, and it means something entirely different on the Anafi. I have the geofencing turned on. As a result it will only rise to 140 feet AGL from liftoff and within a circle with a radius of 550 feet centered on me. It's geofencing is a pilot control only. (400 feet max AGL from point of takeoff is another matter)
