FAA says drone collided with firefighting aircraft flying over Palisades Fire

They claim to have "found" the drone. How the heck did they do that. The pilot didn't even know he hit something. It could have been a lot of things. Maybe it was a drone. Maybe it wasn't.

True. But most other things a plane might hit while flying tend to have feathers, are filled with blood and flesh, and make quite a different mess when struck by an aluminum wing at 120 kts.
