Moderating on a Yuneec site I see a lot of problems from other UAV's
This one was a first for me. A fellow crashed his new Typhoon H520. The one they sell for industry inspection. Seems he sent in his camera for repairs to a repair center. The repair center has never seen these new bellows (damping balls) before. They are sealed on the top and bottom and filled with oil or gel.
Pretty cool what they think of to advance the cameras on these UAV's

They never really said. Think it was a new pilot and just pilot error. I do have to wonder just how well these will work in the cold though. Anything liquid or gel will stiffen up I would think.

Gel absorption,vibration dampers have been used in aircraft engine mounts and avionics installs for at least 40+years.silicon like grease.does not get hard at low temps.(space station)
