P4 Advanced or just stick with the EVO

Hello Ansia...yes, without a nd filter 1/120 is WAY to slow for a bright day. Just use your histogram and you can find that sweet spot.
Great. Thank you. One last question. Is the aperture fixed because it's a digital shutter?

Not sure why but most drones in this category are fixed at f2.8. That is one advantage of the P4 with its 1" sensor and variable aperture.

M2P also has variable aperture. Not cheap tho. What put me off the P4A is the lack of 5Ghz for LB, the Side/Rear sensors I could live without but 5Ghz is nice to have in a noisy RF environment. My Mavic 2 flips between those bands like hot potatoes rapidly finding the best signal it can, for that reason I'd aim for the P4P.

The M2P is 1" too, but I was under the impression that only mechanical shutters were allowed to adjust aperture. Hmmm. Seems I need to do a bit of reading to understand this better.

Why spend $ on an outdated phantom. A better choice P4Pro V2. With a 1 inch sensor and occusync .

Sorry guys, forgot to update this thread.
I bought a P4 Advanced REFURB from a sale that Newegg just had for $750. You get the same 2yr DJi warranty, just like a new purchase. Opened it up and it looks brand new. I went into the internal flight logs of the drone and there were only 5 logs, so it looks like this drone was not even flown ONCE, outside of testing at the factory. Tested and it flies perfect. This will not replace the EVO, but with the better camera, will come in handy when I need it. I am very happy with this purchase, but...the sucker is LOUD. (I figured that going in)

Why not the P4 2.0? Heh...well...it can't be totally unlocked from the DJI shackes. Limited by their stupid NFZ and Altitude, not to mention data harvesting. All that is gone on my advanced. Besides...can't pick up a 2.0, even refurb for $750.

I will take some time, (when I have time) to really compare the quality of the 1" sensor 4k60 of the Advanced compared to the 4k60 of the Evo. We all know the 4k60 of the Evo is outstanding, and so are the Phantoms.

Sure you can remove the NFZ of the 2.0. A simple google will give you the answers. Would like to know more on this data harvesting? The Matrix finally happening? I want to be Trinity.

Remove NFZ permanently from the 2.0? Proof? FYI - I work for NLD. (nolimitdronez) We have taken a look at all the sites that go connects to upon startup, and you would be best served by either using a modded go or firewall the app.

I haven't tried it myself. I just used word of mouth from others. If he lied to me, that's on him. I see no reason why the method wouldn't work. What it does is remove all Flysafe database from your drone, leaving it NFZ free.

LOL. Trust me. If anyone could go it, we could. Whoever told you that is flat out not telling the truth, unless he has the ONLY 2.0 with NFZ removed on the planet. We are just about to release support for the M2 line, and we CAN remove NFZ from those models. Cheers.
