Operating Frequency

Hello All,

The book on this drone says it shifts automatically between one of three different frequencies to get the best signal. Can one select (manual) a specific frequency for operation?

Nope, you can't select the channel or frequency manually.

As there is no hack available to change from CE mode to FCC mode, like it is on DJI drones, I'm going to mod the controller and use an external amplifier to amplify the 2.4Ghz band (there are 2 cables and 2 antennas inside the controller) from the 100mw at which the controller operates in CE mode to 4000mw, and I will connect it to an omnidirectional antenna at the top of my house so I always have line of sight between the antenna and the drone without the need of changing position or pointing the controller towards the drone.

Probably I'll also make a portable version for the car.
