When I 1st got my XSP, I tried to do too much, too soon. I wasn’t that good . The lava crash was me freaking-out when I saw a ranger SUV coming... What drone? I don’t see a drone?

When it’s 30+mph windy, landing is hard, by yourself or via the Home button. It’s easier to crash-land into tall weeds. No weeds? . The worst crash (over the trees) was due to a compass issue on a “new” refurb. I was just trying to get it down. It would suddenly fly-off on it’s own, once over the ocean (!!!), then, it U-turned and landed in a field automatically. The sensors really do sense rolling water as unsuitable to land! Autel replaced it.

My early choices for LZ’s weren’t great, nor were my skills. I learned a lot the “hard” way...

Only way I land is if the drone takes control away from me, i.e., battery drop, lost signal, etc. I always hand catch.
