When flying as a hobbyist at night you have to use some sort of strobe lights or anti-- collision lighting. This is what I've been using the last year or so - first on my DJI Spark and now adapted to my EVO. 3 Strobon Cree strobe lights (red, green, white). They are extremely light weight and really don't create additional drag or cause performance degradation. I've tested and can see these 3+miles out (vlos), more than what I normally need (1-2 miles) and can clearly see going out or coming back the entire time. They recharge using micro USB and last approx 2-3 hrs of use before needing recharge. Rather than attach additional equipment to cradle the strobe to the EVO - I just use a small piece of low profile, 5lb Scotch 3m fastener tape to the drone and to the strobe (see pics below). Stays very secure and easy to attach for night or dusk flights, or detach for daytime flights. Can even fold up and transport EVO without having to remove them if in a hurry. I have the red attached to front left arm - green on front right - white on bottom rear left arm joint. Works great for my night flying needs.
