New Explorer App Told Me To Land

I was flying yesterday, inspecting a house in a rural area. It was really windy, but I paid no mind, since I could see the vultures cruising around. I took off, everything was going great, all of a sudden the app tells me something I couldn't make out and to land now. Besides the voice alert, I did not see any type of warning on the screen. I looked at the Evo and it was drifting away, even with the motors in reverse. Needless to say, I heed the warning and landed.

Anyone experience this?

Was this with the new App that was posted yesterday?

No. It was the beta prior to 1.3.0. I flew some 20 hours ago and my phone updated to the 1.3.0, 11 hours ago. It was the first time I've seen my Evo be taken by the wind, too.

Seems to be windy everywhere these days. Lots of people complaining about not being able to get out and fly. Here is what I have today.

Someone made an error in the programming of your app. It says F, but those are the current temperatures in C. At least down here. ?

Well, at least the App didn’t tell you to wash your hands every 10 min, and stop touching your face — like everybody else is!!!

Yea I know..........the next few months will be challenging on many levels. We will get through this...even if I have to wait for my EVO II Pro

Is that the equivalent of the XSP 1" Sensor or the Evo 1"? ??

Yup... I’m still waiting — I have an XSP w/o a gimbal b/c I hit a TALL tree wrecking the camera. It’s got spider webs on it...
