Flew my Nano+ up the mountain behind our home in western WY, and overestimated the battery capacity ... and it was cold, which likely contributed to the drone landing about 200 yards short of the home point, in the trees and in the snow ...

I had the flight log from the controller, and looked on foot and with another drone, for almost 3 months before w. finally found the little drone under a tree. I'm sure it was under snow as well, for most of that time, as it had snowed several times after the failed return.

The Nano+ looked brand new, a couple of broken prop tips ... and the battery charged normally. She started up fine, but would not link to the controller ... and I thought it was a goner .. but NO, the linking process worked as advertised and she flew like a dream ...

NEVER GIVE UP!!
