Hi all
My Name is Marty and i am a NYC resident born and raised here
I have been flying a Mavic Pro for a few months and i contribute to the website regularly
One of the members there posted the Deal for an EVO that i could not resist
I Like my Mavic Pro and most everything about it but this was an offer ..that i can't refuse !
It is still unopened and i am waiting for the weather to be good for flight...windy here today
I am extremely limited in the areas where i can fly in my neighborhood
NYC parks allow Drones to be flown
I know that i am breaking the rules as i lift off in the park but my flights are always OUT of the park's limits and at times i am flying over heavily populated areas and i worry about a problem if the signal is down and the MP comes crashing down and possibly injuring someone...so far all has worked as it should...perfectly
Good to know that i will have the same support that i experience on The Mavic site...best to all !

I also have a Mavic Pro Platinum. Bought my Evo bundle couple days ago. Still waiting for shipping. If you are in NYC, are you willing to drive out of the city? I know NY have a lot of country side that you can probably find a better place without issues with traffic or people around.

Thanks macoman...there ARE areas not far from where i live that have huge amounts of space perfect for flying...These places are easy to get to BUT not legal...the only places i can legally fly is the NYC park system...I use the park to practice...it is ideal BUT i get bored and i need to stretch out...i can't relax when i fly there because i use the park for a starting point...after launch i am a mile away 3oo feet HIGH and getting a true birds eye look at my neighborhood WITH the NYC skyline 10 miles away and on a good day being able to see fine detail of landmarks...Can't wait to take my first Autel out for a spin...Thanks to all !
