EVO II is due here tomorrow. The reasons I bought it are (1) the obstacle avoidance and (2) 8k camera. Obstacle avoidance hopefully will serve a good purpose as I crashed both my XSP and EVO I in my own back yard while taking closeups of trees and after pushing up to get away clipping a small branch. I watched some reviews and the obstacle avoidance seems very good.
But while I like the idea of 8k how do I put it to use? Its like a car that'll do 150 mph but the speed limit is 65 and there's cops all over the place. I have a sample 8k video 7680x4320 that Billy Kyle made available on YouTube. I have a 4k monitor. Is there a way to get a 4k still out of that, which would be 1/4 of the video frame? Or would I be better using zoom on the EVO II. Does anyone know if it is truly lossless?
