I’ve noticed on a few people’s & my own video footage with the Evo, seem to have a skewed horizon. Is this fixed by calibrating the compass or some other way?? Thanks... E

Have you up graded to the latest firmware?
Early EVO's had that issue that was corrected with newer firmware.
After upgrading, remember to re calibrate everything.

Yes, though I need to check each battery. I don’t remember seeing before. Now that someone pointed it out I notice it a lot.

Incorrect... The newest firmware don't fix any horizon issue. I still have it and I am on the latest firmware... 1.5.8

That will not fix the issue some are reporting with the E2s. When you start with a level horizon and yaw the craft the horizon tilts for several second during the turn and then straightens up. The fix you referenced only levels the initial static horizon.

I was only referencing Evo1 not Evo2. My Evo keeps the right horizon slightly higher than the left side...even when static. The roll adjustment works good for me but must be repeated each time the firmware is updated.
I have seen Evo1s with much worse horizon tilt than mine...not sure what that's about.

I upgraded the firmware last night. I didn’t realize that it was beta firmware. I haven’t actually flown it yet but it looks like it might be fixed. I virtually flew it around the house (no I didn’t make engine sounds ?) to see if it was straight & it looked pretty good. I’ll have to fly it today! Not a cloud in the sky & the temperature is perfect here in FL!! I’ll post my results.... Thx..E

Could you maybe share where that setting is plz??

They may have moved it with the new version of the app but it's in the gimbal settings. It's called roll adjustment. Just start the drone on a level place and dial the gimbal to level. For some reason 0 isn't actually true level on most Evo's.

Cool, found it and that solved the issue. I didn't even know that was there!! Very helpful indeed!!! Thank you I appreciate it.... E

If the gimbal adjustment solved your skewed horizon issue then congratulations. It is only a temporary fix for my EVO running latest firmware. Once I yaw the aircraft to a new heading the horizon becomes tilted once again.

try installing the older firmware into the sd car and load it into the bird, there is a list of all the firmwares on the site, with instruction on how to do it. use search bar

You can't revert to older versions of firmware unfortunately. Only software/app on android.
