Evo Lite 640T Out of the box Issues

Hello everyone,
I finally received my Autel Evo Lite 640T which I bought with mixed expectations as reviews are rare, vague, good and bad.
These Autel people sell a drone in the USA and when you turn on the controller EVERYTHING is in Chinese, there is no indication whatsoever on how to change the language, which to me immediately shows a careless attitude towards customers.
So after an hour plus of clicking everywhere, I finally found the right place and changed it. Then came the firmware update, done once, but it keeps asking me to do it again. I have been playing with this thing for about 3 days, updated about 5 times and it keeps asking me to update the firmware.
Many of the parameters I select are not saved, such as RTH altitude, thermal color palette etc, so it is necessary to enter them again every time the RC and drone are turned on.
There are a bunch of issues that I address in my youtube channel. If you are interested in buying this particular model take a look at it, I had the best intentions to make it work for my new business venture but unfortunately as other experienced drone youtuber said: garbage.

Looks like you fooked up the firmware.

You mean I received it fooked up, or I you suggesting that by doing a firmware update I fooked it up?
 
There is a dedicated support number for the Enterprise models: (844) 460-0454

I found they actually picked up that line and were very helpful.

Hmmm... I experienced none of these issues. It updated promptly, and everything was in English already. I haven't watched your video, but where did you purchase it from?
 
Im having issues where when connecting my smart controller the camera works for about 5 seconds and then it will turn grey and then black and will just disconnect. The firmware is the newest firmware out.

Thanks Bean, that phone number made the difference. Now I have a working drone. The aircraft firmware had to be updated to match RC firmware.

Hmmm... I experienced none of these issues. It updated promptly, and everything was in English already. I haven't watched your video, but where did you purchase it from?
eBay, convince it was a legit seller but apparently its not.

How long did you have to wait from purchase to Getting it ?After the terrible service I've been dealing with due to autel not providing service or updates for the evil one nor recalling it or attempting to buy them back from anybody who has them because I've gathered 35 people that have a $1,300 paperweight clip like I do and it's either going to result in a lawsuit or they can do the right thing. And help the customers out.
And I've been really considering buying the 640t Enterprise. I think this might have just sealed the Fate of ending mine the journey with autel. I sure don't feel right giving this company $7,000 for a drone that they've already shown they can overnight Force everybody to throw it right in the trash.
The customer service idiot in Washington named John actually encouraged me to buy DJI since they are a much better brand and better well-known. I even told him that I saw good things about the 640t, but he was more insisted that I go with DJI.

I'm just really torn because I've seen and read this drone is pretty good and I'm not comfortable with the geofencing crap which could become detrimental to my business . I've emailed autel 16 times And have gotten no call back and two really short replies

About 2 weeks from purchase to delivery, for the Evo Lite 640T there is No support nor 3rd party apps, none. I dont know what you mean by "I've gathered 35 people that have a $1,300 paperweight clip". I have been trying to work out issues with the Evo Lite 640T and still can't get mapping rectangle or polygon mapping correct. Drone starts mission as saved taking photos at 90 degrees and half way mission camera starts shooting at 45 degrees. Also, the quality of the thermal images is garbage, they look out of focus, 800 kilobytes each aprox. I'm hoping all of these is just my lack of knowledge. I have about 10 more days to work with it, if issues are not corrected its going back.

Wow! With the price tag on that thing, there shouldn't be any type of delay.
My recommendation is to file a complaint with all the government agencies. I've gathered close to 40 others. This is kind of disgraceful to watch this knowing how expensive that thing is + I will for sure not sending them $8,000

Oh wow !!! I aa talking about 35 people who have the Evo 1 sitting in ther house useless and ignored by autel !
My extensive research indicated that the 640t light was a bit laggier than the Enterprise that I am so close to purchasing until today
