Does anyone know if the most recent firmware update is still available for download, for the Evo 1, in 2024? I believe it was released 2019/2020 or so, but not really sure. I have an Evo 1 giving me some issues and I'm curious. Thanks for any feedback

In my opinion you should not perform any firmware updates. It seems that each update introduced new problems for most people. I stopped after a couple updates and wish now I could roll back to previous firmware versions that were less buggy.

Actually I'm working on a crashed drone I got for cheap. I ended up putting a gimbal in it, along with front sensors. It powers up as it should, camera and gimbal seem to be working OK. But can't get the motors to start and fast flashing yellow lights on the back. And cant find any kind of firmware info in it anywhere. I figured I'd try the manual firmware update deal with the SD card to see what happens. Just trying to eliminate things to see if it'll spin up

Did you ever get your Evo working? I powered up my drone last night, red solid, fast yellow and it won't connect to remote. Nor can I get into Pairing mode. Super upset about it. Hopefully I'll hear back.

Did you ever figure this out? I'm having the same problem...

I've tried everything I could online. Firmware update blind, fully charged batteries. Nothing happening

I resisted just to chime in, my evo 1 is doing the same thing. Booted it up a few months ago and it connected fine, tried to use it about a week ago and I can't get it to connect to save my life. Went through controller pairings, multiple boot ups, downloaded old .bin firmwares and nothing works. Drone and controller turn on, but will not connect. Guess its bricked.

Never buying or recommending autel again.

Complete b#llsh!t that EVO 1 is now a paperweight for many.

I didn’t think firmware updates were needed for this drone and is why I mainly bought it. Now I pull it out after a few months and the controller won’t connect to drone even after multiple tries at pairing.

Can’t believe this… Autel has lost my support & respect.

I also had a horrendous experience with Autel after dropping thousands on their engineered obsolescence and suggesting them to many people. I won't ever make that mistake again. I've only flown my Evo 1 a grand total 4 times, never crashed, well maintained, even bought a waterproof hard case for it. It appears either they sourced defective NAND chips on the mainboard and thought, it's an acceptable failure period because they'll be EOL before it happens, or they've intentionally bricked these drones. I don't know which one it is, but after losing thousands on an Autel branded paperweight, and seeing so many have the same mysterious issue with no word from Autel nor attempts to make it right, I'm not inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt.

I agree! Same situation, bird flew flawlessly without issues until one day last year when it refused to connect between controller and drone. No known way to fix it and as you said Autel is absolutely useless. Will never, EVER, spend money with Autel and will so advise others.

hola, mi dron no lee la tarjeta de memoria y no puedo visualizar la camara en tiempo real, no puedo desde control remoto y tampoco desde celular...les paso algo similar, tengo un autel EVO 4k.
