EVO 1 Firmware Update

I have an EVO 1. The drone randomly disconnected from the controller. I attempted to pair it again but the pairing button on the rear of the drone is not blinking when I press it. I researched it and someone said update the firmware. Here is where things get dicey. I downloaded the last firmware from the Autel site but the .bin file wont transfer over to my SD card. Needless to say this is frustrating.

I am here asking for any suggestions to resolve my problem so I can get back in the sky. Thank you!

Sorry to hear about that. I had a EVO do that also. No solution available. It is now a parts donor.

Getting the .BIN file over to your SD card should not be an issue. The issue that I am having is after I boot up the drone, I don't know the status of the firmware update because the Remote does not connect. Have you tried to work on this still? Let me know as I am working on this same situation. I have the .BIN file in my drone as we speak and I am going to let the drove sit for about 35 minutes, then I am going to reboot it. At this point - I have nothing to lose.

I have the app version V1.16.3 on my evo1, the gimbal doesn't appear and it goes crazy, the drone flies so erratic that I don't even dare to fly it anymore.
