I'm having a great deal of trouble with Dynamic Tracking.
It's slow to start (what's with that long 3-2-1 countdown?), but is quick to lose whatever is being tracked.
Can anyone offer any advice?

You can view some sample video clips here:

It can't handle quick changes of direction closeup to the target and it won't track very far. Manual says 3-12m.

That doesn't look like a EVO camera. Whats with the barrel distortion?

I get this barrel distortion on my EVO camera as well...

And to Josh- I just wanted to say, that I've struggled to get the Dynamic Tracking to work as well. It's extremely inconsistent, sometimes it says its too close to lock, sometimes it says its too far, and once it gets a lock- it's very unreliable. Sometimes it seems to lose lock for no obvious reason. Here is a video showing my experience with the EVO 2 Dynamic Tracking and comparing it to the tracking of my Mavic 2 Pro.

Green Car is EVO 2 and the Silver Car is Mavic Pro 2. The Mavic sequences in this video are significantly better then the EVO.... the Mavic always has the subject locked in the center frame, and is rock solid about following.
