Looks to me like there are some experiments being conducted for Kestral-like drone delivery. Could be a sign of the times because of the imbalance of weight capacity to flight time ratios on quad/hexa style drones. A VTOL fixed wing aircraft may be highly more efficient on power consumption as well as a greater payload capacity, especially on very long delivery distances.
