Completely hypothetical scenario for Evo an 1" sensor

With the MP2 now out and Autel promising a 1" EVO, if there was an upgrade path (whether it be an entire drone swap-out or they replace the camera) how many people would take advantage of it?

Also, what is the price difference between sensors?

I'd definitely consider it, but if I understand correctly the 1" sensor version of the Mavic 2 has a narrower field of view than the 1/2.3 version.. And one of the things I like about the Evo is the wide field of view. Don't know that I'd want to sacrifice that..

Also, I'm definitely not holding my breath on this happening.

I might consider it, however if it's going to bring the price up a lot I would pass. The Mavic Pro is out of my price range for a portable drone. If it was my ONLY drone then I would absolutely go to the Mavic Pro 2

Price nothwithstanding, if I had to put up with DJIs Geo-Fencing, you would have a hard time giving me their bird. If I accepted, I'd immediately post it for sale on their blog.

I meant if Autel allowed you to get their 1" sensor, not DJI accepting it.

I love the way the EVO flies compared to my other 3 drones and I have no plans on getting another one (ever), but I'd love to get a better sensor.

I wouldn't be bothered. Sincerely, 4K 30FPS or 60FPS is very difficult to share. The more data, the more bandwidth and larger the files. Now I get that you can upload to YouTube and share that way, but when you're sharing with other countries that becomes a null option.
