Class D Airspace

Is it illegal to fly your drone in class D airspace? From what I can determine to enter the the airspace you must have radio communicationstation with the tower.

You would have to submit a request to the FAA well in advance. Look online for a "Waiver/Airspace Authorization " .

I would also find the part 107 test study guide on line and read through that.

Without a waiver, quite illegal.
