Hi All,

A buddy of mine just bought the drone above and the controller says made in Vietnam. At first glance, the payload resembles the V2 Thermal camera. It does not resemble what is on the Autel website. Does anyone have a recent V3 Thermal drone from Vietnam with a "V2 looking" camera. We plan to boot up today and make sure it works before making phone calls.

Regards,

Gerry

hi there yes i have one i believe autel set up in Vietnam too mitigate possible china made government restrictions , hopefully they have got the hang of installing the gimbal guard at the factory ( mine arrived with the gimbal guard rattling around ) when booted up the gimbal was sticking at a 45 deg angle as the front right corner was making contact with the body that issue is now resolved after a workshop return the minimal clearance top and bottom would suggest the cameras bigger I've added 3/8 '' silicone hose blanking caps to the feet to give the camera better ground clearance and still fit in the case , a tip from another user which works well for me

Interesting, mine also arrived without the gimbal guard on when I ordered from Adorama. I had no issues though. I guess the workers are afraid to break it on initial install.
